Come esprimere con una immagine una forza benefica che nasce in una azienda di ricerca medica e si diffonde nella società portando con sé aspettative di vita e speranza nel futuro? L'arte moderna con i suoi simbolismi e la capacità di sintesi, ben si dispone per dare una risposta a questa domanda. Sulla sinistra dell'opera una serie di forme geometriche dai colori aziendali, ma non solo, disposte con ricerca compositiva, presentano una città futura (l'azienda) dalla quale nasce una “forza positiva” (nuovo trattamento). Che, prendendo forma di freccia direzionale, si diffonde e si innalza oltre "le nuvole" (la malattia) e si dirige verso un sole immaginifico che rappresenta il sereno, e il futuro. In questo paesaggio immaginato, altre “linee forza” competono nello spazio compositivo, ma stanno a sottolineare il vigore vincente del soggetto descritto.

G. D’AURIA Nasce a Campobello di Licata (Ag) nel 1948. Pochi mesi dopo con la famiglia si trasferisce in Lombardia, dove si forma, evolvendo verso interessi artistici. I primi consensi professionali giungono all’inizio degli anni ’70, prima nel campo

pubblicitario poi nell’ambito del fumetto e dell’illustrazione, collaborando con note case editrici e importanti colleghi che hanno contribuito alla sua formazione. Parallelamente a questa attività, sin da giovanissimo, si dedica alla pittura, collezionando premi, consensi e prestigiose mostre in molte città italiane. Dal ’72 ad ora sono state inaugurate una quarantina di personali. Nel 1982 frequenta la Scuola Internazionale di Venezia per approfondire l’antica tecnica dell’acquaforte. Da qualche anno la pittura e la grafica d’arte costituiscono la sua attività principale, non disdegna nel contempo esperienze di "creatività alternativa". Insegna disegno e pittura presso Scuole Civiche. Le sue opere si trovano presso importanti collezioni pubbliche e private.

How to express with an image a beneficial force that is born in a medical research company and spreads throughout society, bringing with it life expectancy and hope for the future? Modern art, with its symbolism and capacity for synthesis, is well placed to give an answer to this question. On the left of the work, a series of geometric shapes in corporate colours, but not only, arranged with compositional research, present a future city (the company) from which a "positive force" (new treatment) is born. Which, taking the form of a directional arrow, spreads and rises beyond "the clouds" (the illness) and heads towards an imaginative sun which represents serenity and the future. In this imagined landscape, other "strength lines" compete in the compositional space, but underline the winning vigor of the subject described.

G. D’AURIA He was born in Campobello di Licata (Ag) in 1948. A few months later he moved with his family to Lombardy, where he trained, evolving towards artistic interests. The first professional consensus arrived at the beginning of the 1970 in the advertising field then in the field of comics and illustration, collaborating with well-known publishing houses and important colleagues who contributed to his training. In parallel with this activity, since at a very young age, he dedicated himself to painting, collecting prizes, acclaim and prestigious exhibitions in many Italian cities. From 1972 to now, around forty solo exhibitions have been inaugurated. In 1982 he attended the International School of Venice to learn more about the ancient etching technique. For some years painting and art graphics have been his main activity, at the same time he does not disdain experiences of "alternative creativity". Sign drawing and painting at Civic Schools. His works can be found in important public and private collections.
